Two features this week that don't always get the spotlight but are among the more useful things on LottoIQ, one that shapes everything you see on the platform, and one that answers a question every long-term lottery player has wondered about.

The Dataset Selector

At the top of every stats page sits a choice that most people make once and forget about but shouldn't. The Dataset Selector lets you choose which slice of draw history you're analysing: Last 30 draws, Last 90 draws (Insider), or All-time (Insider).

That choice flows through every section on the page simultaneously. The heatmap, hot and cold numbers, overdue rankings, pattern statistics, and generator filters, all of it updates to reflect the dataset you've selected. You're not just changing one chart. You're changing the entire analytical lens.

Why it matters

Last 30 draws shows you what's been happening recently, useful if you believe recent trends are more relevant than long-term history. All-time gives you the full picture across every draw ever recorded for that game, useful if you want the broadest possible sample. Last 90 sits in the middle, smoothing out short-term noise without going all the way back to the beginning.

A number that looks hot over the last 30 draws might look perfectly average over its full history. A pair that tops the co-occurrence list in recent draws might not even appear in the all-time top 10. The dataset you choose changes the numbers meaningfully, it's worth switching between them before you settle on a pick.

Did My Numbers Ever Win?

This one is exactly what it sounds like. Enter up to 6 numbers or 7 for Lotto MAX, and LottoIQ searches the entire draw history for that game to tell you two things: whether that exact combination has ever appeared in a real draw, and how many partial matches exist across history.

It won't change your odds going forward. A combination that has never been drawn before has exactly the same probability as one that came up last week. But if you've been playing the same set of numbers for years, it's a satisfying check, and occasionally a surprising one.
